You're trying to find the best and most cost-effective way to promote your athletic skills to college coaches and recruiters in your sport. And you've come to the right place. StreamMySport lets you create a compelling Athlete Profile, complete with photographs and a highlights video, all delivered to coaches on the Web. When your profile is complete, we give you a link that you can email to coaches you're already in contact with and we flag your profile to coaches in our database.

HOW TO CREATE YOUR ATHLETE PROFILE

1. Create your StreamMySport.com account by clicking on CREATE MY ACCOUNT.
2. Follow the instructions to enter all of the important information relevant to your sport.
3. Approach high school coaches and/or trainers for letters of recommendation. You'll want to scan these as PDF documents and store these on your computer.
4. Obtain an copy of your transcript that you can scan in as a PDF document and store on your computer.
5. Collect or create half a dozen digital photographs of yourself in action and then add them to your athletic profile.
6. If you haven't already, obtain high quality digital video footage of yourself performing at a real game or showcase. You'll need to capture both panoramic and zoom footage showing different plays that highlight your strengths, and also demonstrate the spirit in which you work with members of your team. You'll need to edit your video footage into a single highlight video of no more than 10 minutes (max 100 MB), and store it on your computer as in one of the following file formats: .avi, .dv, .mov, .qt, .mpg, .mpg2, .mpeg, mpeg2 .mpeg4, .mp4, .3gp, .asf, .wmv. Ideally, insert simple slides as an introduction and to introduce each new segment or play.
7. Now you're ready to input your materials at your computer. The navigation system will guide you through the process of entering your information, and of uploading your documents, photos, and video(s).
8. Be sure to notify any coaches on your target list that your streaming video and profile is available at www.streammysport.com and encourage them to visit this site. Let your high school coaches and guidance counselors know of this site.
9. Visit My Account often to find out how many coaches have looked at your profile and added it to their WatchList. (Note: StreamMySport is used free by college coaches and recruiters across the U.S.).
